AI in Health
Research Network
UNITING EXPERTS TO DRIVE AI HEALTH INNOVATION IN NEW ZEALAND.
The AI in Health Research Network aims to address urgent health sector needs in New Zealand by fostering collaboration and streamlining research efforts. This initiative responds to the 2023 PMCSA’s AI in Health report, highlighting the necessity for AI digital tools in healthcare.
OUR PURPOSE
We seek to create an environment that enables experts from their respective fields to come together to share knowledge, collaborate, and develop real-world applications to position New Zealand at the forefront of AI health innovation.
Through a culture of collaboration and co-development, we aim to facilitate the adoption of AI tools in health to develop safe solutions, create much-needed system-wide efficiencies to support a system that is under pressure and a sector that is ripe for innovation.
The network will serve as a platform for academia and industry to take AI R&D from research through to practice by helping streamline and advise on the pathway, and by demonstrating successful project execution that exemplifies best practice.
