MICCAI 2027

MICCAI is a leading international forum for research, education, and practice in medical image computing, machine learning in medical imaging, and computer-assisted medical interventions and robotics. It brings together a global multidisciplinary community of clinicians, scientists, engineers, educators, and students.

The theme for MICCAI 2027 is 'From the Pacific to the World: Driving MICCAI’s Impact Towards Equitable Healthcare.'

The Organising Committee, led by General Chairs Jichao Zhao, Gabor Fichtinger and Stamatia (Matina) Giannarou, is preparing a programme that emphasises the translation of innovations into real-world, deployable technologies that address pressing healthcare needs globally.

Through engagement with the global community, MICCAI 2027 will foster dialogue on how research and innovation can contribute to improved healthcare outcomes, including for island Pacific nations, and encourage collaborative, sustainable partnerships beyond the conference.
