Dr Tāria Tane

Tāria Tane is a Māori health researcher and project management professional based in Kaipara, Te Tai Tokerau. She holds a PhD in Population Health from Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland, where her research examined access to heart healthcare for rural Māori communities. With over a decade of experience across the health and research sectors, Tāria has supported a range of health technology initiatives, including projects focused on AI transparency and equity in healthcare. Tāria is committed to improving health outcomes for underserved communities.
