Associate Professor Catherine Shi

Catherine is a researcher interested in developing advanced computational methods for analysing multimodal medical images to support early diagnosis and monitoring of neurological conditions. With a focus on clinical translation, her research aims to create interpretable AI tools that can be deployed in real-world healthcare environments. Her current research areas include deep learning for neurological image analysis, the integration of imaging and clinical data for disease prediction and prevention and AI-enabled decision support systems for primary care and patient empowerment.
