Biography

I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Otago. My research focuses on how artificial intelligence can support clinicians in real-world workflows, particularly through interactive clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, and evidence-based decision support. I am interested in large language models, medical knowledge graphs, AI agents, and harness engineering. My broader goal is to develop AI tools that are safe, clinically useful, explainable, and culturally appropriate.

Research Projects and Ideas

I am exploring several AI in health projects: automated ICD coding from clinical records; interactive differential diagnosis systems; and clinical note automation. Across these projects, I focus on large language models, AI agents, medical knowledge, safety, reliability, and real-world clinical use.

Collaborations and Skills

My skills include medical NLP, large language models, knowledge graphs, clinical note automation, reinforcement learning, AI Agent, data analysis, and Harness engineering.
