Biography

I am currently pioneering research initiatives at Wakefield Heart Centre whilst finishing my training as a Cardiac Physiologist. I finished my PhD looking at diabetic cardiomyopathy at the University of Otago in 2022 and have been working in hybrid clinical/research roles since then.

Research Projects and Ideas

Currently interested in the use of LLMs as research aids to improve the efficiency of clinical audits. I aim to use these tools to further evaluate treatment methods for atrial fibrillation within an Aotearoa/New Zealand context to improve patient outcomes from these procedures.

Collaborations and Skills

Open to collaborating on projects exploring the use of AI tools as an adjunct to researchers especially within a cardiology context. Happy to assist with peer reviewing studies.

Connections of interest

Interested in talking to others about different use cases for AI as a research/clinical aid.
